Crawford Commercial Real Estate
Services, Inc. was started on
April 1, 1999. After a successful career of 18 years in
commercial real estate, Mr. Crawford began his own firm to
develop, lease, and sell office, flex and industrial
properties located in the Roanoke and New River Valleys.
Just
prior to starting Crawford Commercial Real Estate, Mr. Crawford worked
with Liberty Property Trust and Lingerfelt Development Co.
to fully develop, lease and manage Valleypointe Corporate
Center, a mixed-use park of 65 acres consisting of 148,00
square feet. In addition, he developed the
international logistics center for Elizabeth Arden of
265,000 square feet; the office headquarters facility
for CMMA of 14,000 square feet; the
research and development center of 20,000 square feet for
Magnetic Bearings; and the
national headquarters and manufacturing facility of 150,00
square feet for Optical Cable Corp. Without exception, these
projects represent the highest quality developments of their
kind in Western Virginia.
Since selling Valleypointe in July of 2000, Mr. Crawford has
started to develop another mixed-use park, The Oaks. The first building of 7,000 square feet is
90% complete and serves as the prototype for the remaining
11 acres of the park. Similar to Valleypointe, it is a
planned corporate environment, but will have more of a
campus layout.
Mr.
Crawford will handle smaller projects that complement and
coordinate with current larger projects. Crawford Commercial
Real Estate has the experience, the successful track record,
and the local knowledge to quickly bring your project on-stream,
lease it at pro-forma rates, and manage it so
tenants regularly renew. He handles all projects
personally, delegating only those tasks requiring
specialized technical
expertise.
Bob Crawford is a
Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). A CCIM is
